[VIDEO] HOW CAN YOU CREATE VALUABLE CONTENT?
Valuable content is content that makes people want to read, share, and come back for more. What gives a piece of content that value?
Before the internet existed, the main factor limiting marketers was physical space. How big is my magazine ad? How big is my billboard? Space was limited.
But now, thanks to the internet, space is practically unlimited. You can have an infinite number of pages, blog posts, and content offers.
But you may notice that even with all that content, it is much harder to capture the attention of your prospects. There is already a ton of content published. Who will get the most attention? Which websites will get the most visits? Which offers will they download?
Now, instead of fighting for space, you are fighting for attention.
That is where the importance of Valuable Content comes in. The kind of content that will capture your prospects' attention. Many people are creating content, but few believe they are doing it well. If you want to do it well, you need to start by having a plan.

Here we see an interesting statistic. Only 35% of B2B marketers have a documented content strategy, and only 37% of B2C marketers have a documented content strategy.
Surprised? Those are really low percentages of marketers developing a documented content strategy, so why not get ahead and start creating your own content plan and content process?
You can start by creating a series of processes to follow regularly, focused on turning your company into a content-generating machine. The more content you generate, the better - with each piece of content, the process becomes easier and more effective.
You have to think of the process as if it were a savings account. Maybe your goal is to retire in 30 years, and the only way you will reach your goal is to have a plan and be consistent. If you stick to your plan, over time you will see the return on your investment, getting closer and closer to your goal.
It is the same when you create content. Every piece of content you create is an investment toward your larger content generation goal. If you are consistent, you get closer and closer to achieving the goals of having enough content to help you attract more visitors to your website, convert those visitors into prospects, and close them as customers and delight them so they become promoters of your brand.
Now keep in mind that building a plan for your content generation machine takes a little more time than just jumping right in, but in the end it will bring you good results with the momentum you will gain over time.
Typically, a content generation process has 4 steps. The steps are planning, creation, distribution, and analysis. After completing all the steps, take what you learned in your analysis and repeat everything again.
