WHY ISN'T YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN WORKING?
Social media has gained a lot of strength in recent years, due to the technological advances we have seen and the reach the internet is achieving, since it is extending to the most remote places on Earth.
This has led to more than 2 billion people being active social media users, whether just to have a personal profile or even to make sales or do business through company or industry profiles, thus getting their brand recognized by more people.
However, in our eagerness to launch campaigns for our products or services, or even to position our brands, we make many mistakes, which is why they turn into ineffective campaigns or usually fall short of the results we expect.
In the following posts, we will look at the most common mistakes we make when launching campaigns on social media and the best practices for doing it.
How Do You Launch Social Media Campaigns?

If you have decided to create social media strategies, it is because you have understood the importance and reach that social media has in the Inbound Marketing cycle. So we will highlight the best ways to carry out this type of strategy, and we will also see how we can use them in each of the steps of our Inbound method.
First of all, we must recognize that the goal of Inbound Marketing is to generate more revenue at lower costs, which means that our social media strategy is based on launching campaigns with valuable content that is purely organic (that is, without paying for advertising), interesting, and educational.
Now we will look at 3 steps that will help you make your campaigns more effective. The steps we are going to follow are: research, publishing, and reporting.
Research
Social media research is an excellent way for marketing experts to gather information about their buyers. Not only can you learn what your buyers think about your company, but you can also research industry trends that will help you attract more visitors and make your business thrive.
If you focus only on publishing one piece of content after another without first researching trends or even the needs of your Buyer Personas, you will not reach the goals you set, because you will be filling your page with posts that may eventually become obsolete, and you will be running a poorly focused campaign.
Publishing
Publishing on social media is the next step in developing an effective Inbound strategy on social media. This is your opportunity to show your newly acquired knowledge by distributing content to your Buyer Personas. This is an important part of your strategy, since what you publish and how you publish it will determine how your audience perceives your brand.
Keep in mind that not everyone perceives things the same way, which is why you must be very careful when creating posts on your social media, so they reach the right people at the right time. Remember to run campaigns for specific audiences so you can get better results in each of your campaigns.
Reporting
Generating reports will let you know: What is working? What is not working? Reports also help you understand how to evaluate your efforts against your actual results.
If you do not generate results reports, you will not be able to find out whether the campaigns you are running on social media are effective. You will not know what you need to improve, or whether you could perhaps lengthen or shorten a campaign so it is more successful, or even whether you could at some point repeat a campaign you already launched before.
With these three steps, you can start launching successful social media campaigns so you can generate more traffic to your website and, in turn, bring more revenue to your company.
