[VIDEO] WHAT AN EFFECTIVE THANK-YOU PAGE LOOKS LIKE
In this video, we'll apply best practices to create an effective thank-you page using an example. Let's get started.....
We'll start by analyzing this thank-you page. This page is the next step after signing up to receive a Facebook guide for schools.

How could we improve this thank-you page?
Let's start with the text on this page: Facebook Guide for Schools.
As we mentioned earlier, this offer is to download a free Facebook guide for schools.
It's hard to know exactly what your prospect is supposed to make of this; they've signed up, but how will they receive the offer?
Let's add the download button and change the text to:

Facebook Guide for Schools. Thank You for Downloading It!
Here we're already indicating that your prospect will receive the offer on that same page, and that by clicking the button they'll be able to download it
Don't forget about the conversion process from the call-to-action to the landing page to the thank-you page, and how all of these work together.
If someone wanted to learn a little more about your company before completing the offer download, there aren't many options to do so. To fix that, let's add a navigation menu to this thank-you page.
Great. Now your new leads will be able to navigate your website easily.
But what about offering additional content on the page?
Right now there's nothing there, so adding some related posts below seems like a good idea, such as this blog post titled: How Can I Attract the Ideal Student to My School? Or this other one: How Can I Improve My School's Advertising?

We'll also provide a CTA, or call-to-action, on the right side; this way, the lead will be able to move a little further along the buyer's journey.
By applying best practices to our thank-you page, we've managed to give our prospect more opportunities to learn about our services.
Now you know the importance of a thank-you page, how to use it effectively at the end of the conversion process, and how to apply best practices when creating a thank-you page.
