hubspot updates

This month was amazing, as we had the honor of hosting the event "Artificial Intelligence in Sales and Marketing for 2024." Experts from both HubSpot and our own agency took part. If you couldn't attend, don't worry, we have a blog post that tells you all about The Power of Artificial Intelligence in Sales and Marketing for 2024... well, almost everything.

In addition, HubSpot surprises us with very interesting updates, such as time zone management in CRM filters, improvements to object list pages, and a new feature in feedback surveys. There are also updates to Operations Hub and many other things. Let's see what happened this month!

Scheduling Meetings in Playbooks

  • Scheduling a meeting is an important step in many sales processes. Now, you can include this step in playbooks so that users can schedule a meeting on their own calendar, or on behalf of someone else, without having to leave the playbook screen and without interrupting their workflow. / Knowledge Base

Creating Custom Goal Templates

  • Defining a suitable custom goal for your team requires proper analysis and effort to make sure it is defined correctly. Many users have told us that they find it difficult to reuse their custom goal, which means having to redefine it every month, quarter, or year. With this update, customers can save custom goals as a template in HubSpot. These templates will be available in the goals library. / Knowledge Base

New Sales Pipeline Rules • Private Beta

  • A new feature is coming soon for Sales Ops professionals: the creation of pipeline rules. With this new type of setting, we will be able to create rules such as limiting the creation of new deals to only one pipeline stage, or restricting the ability to skip stages or to move deals back to earlier stages. The update is a response to feedback given by users in the HubSpot community and, for now, it is in the testing stage with specific customers. / Community

Subscription Types Across Different Business Units • Public Beta

  • Managing emails and consent information across different business units? With this beta, you will be able to ensure that marketing email subscription types and consent information are kept separate across your business units, enabling better organization and a better user experience. / Knowledge Base

Support for Webhooks in Private Apps

  • Webhooks allow developers to create integrations that sync data in a HubSpot account with less code and using fewer API calls. Previously, webhooks were only available for public apps, which are generally more complex to implement. Now, we support the use of webhooks in private apps, making it easier for developers to create custom integrations that sync data with your HubSpot account. / Developers

State of Sales Report 2023

HubSpot + Clearbit

  • A CRM is only as good as the data you have. What if you could power up your HubSpot CRM with much more relevant information to work even better? That is why, last week, HubSpot announced the acquisition of Clearbit, whose mission is to collect data on millions of different companies. In the future, the acquisition will bring an even more powerful CRM. / HubSpot blog

Feedback Tags

  • Too many detractors? It is time to understand the trends and the reasons why customers are dissatisfied. With this new feature, you will be able to tag the feedback from users who respond to your feedback surveys. / Knowledge Base

A More Organized Index Page

  • Data, data, and more data. It is not hard to get lost in your CRM's object screens with so many properties, columns, and records. With this new update, you can freeze the first column of object lists to make viewing easier. / Knowledge Base

Time Zones in the CRM

  • Is there anything more awkward than time zones? If you work with different regions and hours, you surely know the headache and the constant math you have to do to keep track of the time. No more! Check out this update: now, when filtering on any Date or DateTime property in lists or workflows, you will see an option to select the UTC or the portal time zone. / Screenshot

Calls from the HubSpot App

  • Sales reps like to use their phones to make calls, even when they are at their desks. Until now, they had the option to start calls from the desktop directly to their cell phones through the ‘Call from phone’ option. The new "Call from HubSpot app" option allows reps to send the call directly to the HubSpot app, which lets the rep take advantage of the full calling experience in the HubSpot app. / Knowledge Base

Prompts for AI

AI in Chatbots • Restricted Beta

  • An artificial intelligence feature has just arrived in HubSpot chatbots! Now, users who contact your company through a chatbot will be able to ask questions that will be answered by AI using the content of your knowledge base. For now, the tool is only available in English and is in the testing stage.

External Pages in Campaigns • Public Beta

  • If you are analyzing the information from your marketing campaigns in HubSpot but are missing information about external sites, your problems are solved. Now, the campaigns tool lets you associate pages outside HubSpot as a marketing asset. / Knowledge Base

Adding Guests to Meeting Links • Public Beta

  • Currently, prospects who book meetings through scheduling pages lack a practical way to include additional attendees in the invitation. Now, through scheduling pages, we can allow prospects to add additional guests to a meeting. Potential customers can include up to 10 additional guests, who will receive a calendar invitation for the meeting that was just booked. / Community

Call Analytics

  • If you use calling in HubSpot, don't miss the new analytics tool for calls made through the CRM. In this feature, you will find reports with the number of calls made on the platform per rep, compared to goals, as well as minute usage. To view the tool, go to the Contacts > Calls menu > "Call analytics" button in the top right.

Changes to Yahoo and Google Rules for Marketing Emails

  • Starting in February 2024, Google and Yahoo will require senders to implement email authentication, along with other significant changes to policies related to consent for marketing emails. Senders who do not meet these requirements will see their emails delayed, blocked, or sent to the SPAM folder. Our specialists bring us more information in the HubSpot Community (in English). / Community

Anomaly Monitoring in Property Data

  • The feature that identifies anomalies in CRM property data is now live for all Operations Pro+ customers. By using it, admins will be able to understand trends and anomalies in the behavior of the data stored in the CRM, all through the data quality center. / Screenshot

Recommended Playbooks on CRM Cards

  • The CRM cards tool keeps getting new updates. Now, you can create cards that will recommend playbooks/guides depending on the object the user accesses. For example: if the contact is an SQL, you can recommend a qualification guide. / HubSpot developers

New Criteria for Workflows

  • In many cases, you need CRM automations to be triggered by criteria outside HubSpot. The typical solution for these cases involved lots of workarounds. With this workflow update, you can now trigger an automation from an external webhook. / Knowledge Base

New Permission to View Emails • Beta

  • There is a new permission that can limit users' ability to view emails logged on CRM objects. These emails are assigned to the sender or the primary recipient of the email and, now, you will be able to configure authorizations that let you set viewing permissions by owner or team. / Knowledge Base
