In the world of HubSpot and in the tech market, there's so much news every day that keeping up with everything is a difficult task. With this post, we aim precisely to make your life easier and share what matters most from our perspective as HubSpot Partners.
That's why we're sharing the HubSpot updates for February 2023 here, so you can make the most of the platform.
The updates are as follows:
Security Center
- Ensuring the security of your data and your customers' data is an essential, non-negotiable part of your work as a HubSpot user. To make your day-to-day easier, the new Security Center was launched. In this tool, you can manage and view all the steps you need to take so that your account or your client's account is 100% secure. / Blue Frog
Two-Factor Authentication
- Since we're talking about security, there's an important update for Starter customers: from now on, users will be required to set up two-factor authentication to access their accounts. If they haven't completed this setup by March 8, they'll need to set it up before their next login. / Knowledge Base
Meeting Scheduling
- Scheduling meetings through the CRM is now an easier task with the new scheduling experience. Before, when you needed to schedule a meeting through the CRM, you had to have your calendar open to find the best slot. Now, you can view all your calendar events within HubSpot so you can find the best time. / Knowledge Base
New Object Views
- Views on CRM object pages offer more and more configuration features: now, when creating them, you can combine criteria using "OR" in addition to "AND," giving you a better experience and an interface similar to that of lists. / Demo
New SEO Recommendation
- HubSpot's SEO recommendations tool can now identify broken links on external pages. Before, you could only get the recommendation for internal pages, and with this update, any broken link will be identified and flagged by the tool. / Knowledge Base
Activity Sync
- CRM activity sync? It's the latest update available in Operations Hub Data Sync integrations. You can now sync activities such as meetings, tasks, notes, calls, and emails. If you hadn't heard about it before, I recommend getting to know the set of integrations available in the Operations Hub subscription. / App Marketplace
Calculations on Parent and Subsidiary Associations
- Custom properties now have a new option to perform calculations based on parent and subsidiary company associations. For example, you can calculate the total revenue of all of a company's subsidiaries or calculate how many subsidiaries a parent company has. To create the calculation, go to Settings > Properties > Create property > Choose the "calculation" type. / Demo
More Customization in Imports
- If you work with object imports in HubSpot, you're really going to like this week's update: now, when importing records, you can choose whether the import should update records and create new ones, only update existing records, or only create new records. / Knowledge Base
Inactivity in Browsers That Access HubSpot
- This week, there were more changes to HubSpot's security mechanisms. Now, when there's inactivity for more than 24 hours in a browser that accesses a HubSpot portal, the user will have to log in again to access the portal. And to strengthen the protection of your information, we also recommend turning on two-factor authentication. / Knowledge Base
Digital Marketing Certification in Spanish
- HubSpot Academy's new digital marketing certification in Spanish has just launched! This course will show you how to effectively apply the inbound methodology to your digital marketing strategies. Learn to optimize your website for search engines, create an organic strategy to grow your number of followers, and build an ad strategy to bring your company's message to your target audience. / Hubspot Academy
