Check out the news for the month of August!
Diversity as a Strategy to Boost Sales
- Have you ever thought about investing in diversity as a strategy to boost sales? That's the topic of the session with Cynthia Barnes, LinkedIn Top Voice, Gartner ambassador, and TED participant. Mark your calendar for the session "Women Sell Better: Driving Sales With Diversity."
Keep Track of Your Platform Limits 📈
- One of the most frequent questions our team gets from clients is about account limits. How about we make this process easier? All users now have access to a new limits tab, where they can see the limits for objects, properties, associations, and labels, among other things. The feature is in beta and can be requested on the updates page. Get more information here.
CRM Backup, Now Easier 🔁
- Although our platform has some features that let you back up stored data, there is still no consolidated way to carry out this process all at once. With this new private beta, this is no longer a problem for CRM administrators. Check out the new update to learn more about the CRM backup functionality.
More Refined Searches in Custom Objects 🔎
- The CRM search bar is a tool for anyone who needs to get to what they need quickly. And now it's easier: you can enable up to 20 custom properties per object so they're available in the HubSpot search bar. Learn more about the beta here.
Highly Sensitive Data in HubSpot 🔐
- A few weeks ago, we launched support for storing sensitive data in HubSpot properties. It's time to take the next step with this functionality: now it's also possible to store highly sensitive data. This means you'll be able to store information such as banking and health data in properties with complete security and access control, making the CRM even more powerful. To learn more about this new feature, see the details here.
New Property Creation Experience 📦
- Have you tried the new CRM property creation experience? The process is now centralized in a panel dedicated to creating new fields on the platform, which makes organizing your CRM's data structure a much smoother process. Kyle Jepsen, a HubSpot Academy instructor, did a full demo that you can watch on LinkedIn.
Customizing Records on the Same Page 🛠️
- Shall we simplify CRM customization? The new record editing page lets you easily organize the information that platform users see in the sidebars, the timeline, and the object tabs, all editable from the same tool, saving CRM administrators hours of work. In our knowledge base, you'll find the step-by-step guide.
Call Transfers in the CRM 📞
- Are you an agent who receives phone calls in HubSpot, but the incoming call should have gone to the colleague next to you? Don't worry, because you can now transfer calls to other users who have been added to the same conversations inbox as you. You can find more information about the beta here.
Your Podcast in HubSpot 🗣️
- An entire podcast episode produced inside HubSpot? It's on its way! In this private beta, in addition to the podcast features you already know, you'll also be able to create title options based on search volumes, make a list of points to guide your recording, transcribe all of your podcast content, and much more.
Multi-Step Forms 🪜
- The forms tool just received a long-requested update: the ability to organize multiple steps. If you need to split your form's questions into different steps for users, you can now set this up directly in the editing interface. You'll find more information about this new beta feature in our knowledge base.

Important Changes to HubSpot Calling in Colombia
- Users who rely on HubSpot to make outbound calls from a Colombian number (+57) to another Colombian number will no longer be able to do so from the CRM due to rules set by Twilio, HubSpot's partner for the calling tool. Colombian numbers can still make calls to numbers in other countries. For more information, check Twilio's documentation.
Other Tickets Associated With a Contact in Help Desk 👩🏻💻
- Help desk users now have a new section in the right sidebar, where they can see other tickets associated with the same contact they're interacting with. The update gives support and after-sales agents even more context for a more personalized experience.
Rules for Custom Object Pipelines 🚫
- If your custom objects are managed by a pipeline, there's a new feature (recently launched for companies) that has just been extended to custom objects: validation rules for pipelines. Super admins can now create rules that let them define the stage in which objects must be created, as well as restrict the ability to skip stages or move back to a previous stage.
Validating Information Submitted in Forms 🔤
- Speaking of validation, forms also gained new features that let you validate the information submitted by users. It's now possible to set certain rules on number or free-text fields that prevent a user from submitting data if it doesn't meet the requirements defined by the form creator.
Reports on Private Content Registrations 📊
- The functionality for managing private content for previously registered users just received an update that brings several new types of reports. You can analyze the registration method, content access dates, the date of last access, and the registration status. Learn more here.
New Marketing Workspace✒️
- The new workspace for marketing professionals is now available in public beta. The "home for marketers workspace" brings together in a single tool everything a marketer needs to do their daily work: recently accessed assets, points of attention in marketing campaigns, calendar, tasks, approvals, and much more. If you're curious, you can find more details here.
New Lead Scoring Tool🔺
- Creating a lead scoring strategy is crucial so your marketing and sales team can prioritize opportunities more effectively and drive good results. And the lead scoring experience in HubSpot wasn't always the most intuitive. Until today, with the new tool located in the marketing menu. Discover the new score creation flow here.
New Metrics Panel for Pipelines📊
- All deal pipelines and filters now have a new reporting bar at the top of the screen, where you can see your deals' key metrics, such as the number of deals created, won, and lost, as well as quickly and easily understand your sales velocity and close rates. The functionality, in private beta, can be requested through the product updates page.
Edit History in List Filters 📖
- Have you edited a contact list, but the filters look different? With this new functionality, you'll be able to access a history of all the changes made to your lists' filters, giving you much more control and further improving your data governance. The step-by-step guide to accessing the functionality can be found here.
Publish Instagram Stories 🤳
- HubSpot's social media tool now supports publishing and scheduling Instagram stories, in addition to providing more performance analytics for this type of content. To use the new functionality in private beta, visit the product updates page.
