The first page of Google: if you're reading this, it's surely because that's the place where you'd like people to find your website.

Well, to be precise, we don't just want to be found; we already know you can also pay for that. What we're after is ranking organically, for a good long while, and without spending a dime on ads.

We know that 75% of people never go past the first page of a Google search.

That means we can't afford to be on the second, third or fourth page.

93% of online experiences begin with a search engine.

Plus, there are more than a billion searches every month!

How long will it take me to appear on the first page of Google?

Not every website owner manages to rank for the keywords they want. There are already thousands of high-profile websites using the same keywords.

If you're trying to get noticed and rank organically on the first page of Google for popular keywords such as "CRM for SMBs," I'm afraid that will probably take you a long, long time.

Let's take an example. If you have a website that sells a CRM for SMBs, fresh out of the oven, with no domain authority, no links to other sites and almost no traffic pull, you won't make it.

And if you take a look at the first-page Google results for "CRM for SMBs," you'll see the main problem you're up against:

Past the paid search results, you'll only find top-tier sites with strong recognition in the niche.

However, you shouldn't give up!

Today we're sharing some proven methods that we at Digitalegia have used successfully to help our clients appear on the first page of Google.

Take note ..

How do you appear on the first page of Google?

Tip 1:

Do keyword research. Analyze the keywords that matter for your market segment.

It's important to choose words with high volume and low difficulty. I recommend these tools: Ubersuggest and SEMRush

The higher the difficulty, the more businesses are trying to rank for that word. The more specific your keyword, the easier it will be to rank for it.

Tip 2:

Make sure you use keywords that answer what users are searching for.

To get a better idea, you can type your keyword into the Google search engine and look at the results.

Tip 3:

Analyze the content your competitors are creating and try to improve on it.

Analyze the difficulty of the top 10 search results, the length of their blog content, the number of links, and the H1 and H2 titles they use. Try to use better images.

Tip 4:

Write more blog posts than your competitors. If you write more content, you have a better chance of appearing on the first page of Google.

The more you write, the more pages will be indexed and the more traffic you'll attract to your site.

Now you know. Appearing on the first page of Google is certainly work that takes time and dedication, but it pays off in higher sales for your business.
