In our latest posts, we have talked about what influencer marketing is and how to choose the best influencers for your brand. We are continuing with the topic, and today let's look at 4 examples of successful influencer marketing.
Hallmark
The greeting card brand promoted its 2016 holiday season collection with a campaign by influencers who shared their family moments with the hashtag #KeepsakeIt, making the ornaments an important part of the holiday atmosphere. The posts included a link so audiences could buy the ornaments directly from social media.
Estée Lauder
The campaign called Modern Muse was born when the 75-year-old cosmetics brand wanted to reach an audience younger than its traditional customer. With supermodel Kendall Jenner, they managed to reach her impressive 76.3 million Instagram followers and reestablish the brand's image as something fresh and modern.
She collaborated with the brand by creating and sharing on her Instagram content ranging from usage tips to her favorite products and behind-the-scenes material about the special collection for young women.
GAP
The successful Styled.by campaign from clothing brand GAP relied on a number of social media influencers, who showed their followers their favorite ways to incorporate GAP garments into their style. The strategy of collaborating with several influencers from different niches guaranteed enormous reach among different consumer groups.
Samsung
The most retweeted image in history: that sounds like a success! Samsung was the main brand at the 2014 Oscars, with million-dollar spots, but the real success was Ellen Degeneres's group selfie with stars like Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Meryl Streep. The selfie taken with the Note 3 is still the most famous image in Twitter history.
