2 PILLARS OF CONTENT FOCUSED ON YOUR GOALS
Your content is the key factor in attracting new leads and nurturing the ones you already have. However, many communications and marketing professionals are creating content without thinking about the role it plays in achieving their goals.
Your campaigns won't get the best results if you don't think about your goals when creating content. So how do you create results-oriented content?
Make a long-term plan
Only 35% of B2B marketers and 37% of B2C marketers have a documented content plan. Create the processes you need to produce content frequently and consistently. The best way to achieve your goals is to make a plan and stick to it - pieces of content created on impulse probably won't have that same focus on your goals.
Invest time in planning your topics
Your most successful content will be about the topics your potential customers want to learn more about, but that's not everything. Focus on defining clear topics that are small enough for a blog post. Remember, it's better to say a lot about a little than a little about a lot. Make each piece of content answer a specific question and truly deliver what you promise in your title.
