[VIDEO] HOW DO YOU USE A THANK-YOU PAGE?

Today we'll look at what a thank-you page is and why you should use it in your conversion process.

By the end of this class, you'll know how to create your own thank-you pages using best practices, as well as their role in a successful conversion process.

How Do You Use a Thank-You Page?

A thank-you page lets you present the next step to that newly converted prospect, moving them closer and closer to becoming a customer.

Remember, the conversion process begins when a visitor clicks a CTA, or call-to-action. Then the visitor learns about your offer, fills out the form on your landing page, and becomes a prospect. Finally, the converted prospect is taken to your thank-you page, where the offer is delivered.

A thank-you page, as its name suggests, lets you thank the new prospect for sharing their information to get the offer, but it also provides some additional direction on what your prospect might want to see next.

A thank-you page is important because it gives prospects the information they were expecting.

While this is the end of the conversion process, the thank-you page can be used to help someone continue through the buyer's journey.

Now, some of you may already have landing pages set up to display a thank-you message after the visitor fills out the form.

That's a good start, but I recommend that you redirect the visitor to a thank-you page instead so you can thank them and offer additional information.

If you only thank the prospect with a message, you're missing a great opportunity to engage with them.

Thank-you pages are an excellent way to thank your prospects for their interest in your offer and give them a little more information that will hopefully move the prospect a little closer to becoming a customer.

In the next video, we'll look at how to create successful thank-you pages, so if you want to stay up to date on when we upload new content, remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel or to our blog at digitalegia.com
