how to retain your students part2

If you just landed on our blog and find this topic interesting, check out the first part of this post.

We hope you've put some of our previous tips into practice. Let's look at what other strategies you can adapt at your school to prevent school dropout.

Keep parents and students informed.

Email marketing is a smart solution to communication problems at educational institutions; email is a durable, private channel for sharing questions, asking for support, and showing the school's interest in its students.

Adapt your processes.

Students and parents alike no longer want to handle paperwork, payments, or any questions in person; they prefer to do it online, saving time and effort. That's why we recommend creating a portal or website with all the processes, or simple guides for situations they may face. These kinds of tools can even be seen as customer service, only in an indirect way that still solves their problems.

Personalize your messages.

By creating personal emails, you build trust between parents/students and your school, so they have the same opportunity to ask you questions or even make suggestions directly to your school, confident that they will be heard and will receive a direct response. Using a CRM will be a great help with this task.

Don't forget those who have dropped out.

Don't lose touch with the students who, despite your efforts, have decided to drop out. Create content aimed especially at them, through which you educate them about what dropping out of school means. Stay in touch and let them know about new plans, schedules, or programs that may interest them. Motivate them to come back!

Together with the strategies we have shared with you, timely and direct communication with your students can make all the difference.
