WHAT IS A CRM

You have very likely heard this term many times while trying to create a marketing strategy for your company: CRM. However, perhaps you are not familiar with the term, which means you don't even know what CRM means or what it is for.

Of course, many companies have used CRM to create a Successful Inbound Strategy and have managed to build a successful strategy.

in fact, thanks to this, the Marketing and Sales departments of many companies have grown much stronger and have managed to get more qualified sales opportunities and, therefore, more customers.

Right now, you must be interested in using CRM in your company, asking questions like: How would a CRM help my company? How can I fit it into my Marketing strategy?

In this post, we dig into its meaning and how it can increase the efficiency of your sales.

WHAT IS CRM?

CRM (Customer Relationship Management), translated literally into Spanish, means managing the relationship with consumers, but that is as generic as any English phrase translated into Spanish.

But to understand it better, it basically refers to a customer-centered Marketing strategy.

However, the concept of CRM is much more than an abbreviation for customer relationship management. It is a term that can apply to methodologies or to specific software that helps organize relationships.

Did you know that your company could have a Database of leads capable of describing relationships in enough detail for sales agents to respond to the needs of your Buyer Personas?

That database can even help service workers, and even the customers themselves, access that information directly, recall different offers, and know what other products a customer has purchased.

Go ahead and manage your customers' critical information, all from one place!

To begin with, there is no universal definition of CRM or of customer relationship management. In fact, we could say there are as many definitions as there are relationships, software vendors, and system integrations specialized in the industry.

However, if we go by its literal meaning, Customer Relationship Management can be defined as a business strategy aimed at or focused on understanding, anticipating, and responding to the needs of a company's current and potential customers to make the value of the relationship between both parties grow.

A fairly widespread misunderstanding in the Marketing world is believing that it simply consists of implementing software and that the software by itself will achieve the business objectives.

If you are looking for a more comprehensive approach to your customer portfolio to see how each interaction and activity you have with them evolves, you will need to carefully manage everything this term involves.

In fact, there are several examples of business processes that do not require any technology or software.

Just think of the old saying “the best service is the one that comes with a smile” or “the customer is always right”. These are examples of relational processes made popular long before the introduction of technology.

Get ready to manage information combined with operational data, reports, and analytics that give your employees the power to make strategic decisions and offer customers a consistently superior experience.
