Did you know...?
The success of an email marketing campaign doesn't lie in the open rate, that is , how many people opened your email; it lies in the click rate within it. For this, you need to be using appropriate, eye-catching CTAs (calls-to-action).
The open rate is a percentage that indicates how many successfully delivered emails were opened by subscribers. Meanwhile, the click rate is a percentage that indicates how many successfully delivered emails registered at least one click. Your click rate reveals general trends, but it isn't especially detailed. There is additional information about your subscribers, click-throughs, and time on your Reports page.
How to Improve the Click Rate
The click rate essentially tells you how many of your subscribers find your campaign content useful. To improve your click rate, you'll need to create content that is useful to more subscribers. As with open rates, you can sometimes achieve this by targeting specific content to a smaller, segmented list.
You can also try changing the link text and testing content blocks in your campaigns.
