OPTIMIZE YOUR ENROLLMENT PROCESS AND GET MORE STUDENTS
Enrollment season is coming. If you don't have a plan to get more students yet, this post is an excellent start.
We share 6 ways to optimize the enrollment process at your school and guide your administrative staff to reach this school year's goal.
Keep a record of inquiries
When you receive a call requesting information, always ask for the caller's details; when people visit the school in person, never let anyone leave without asking for their main details.
Be kind, it shows
Whenever customers visit you, offer them something to drink; you'll make them feel comfortable and could improve their day and mood.
Respect your customers' time
During enrollment season, be punctual for your appointments and don't keep parents waiting. During the information session, don't answer the phone or attend to anyone else; it makes a very bad impression.
Make your processes customer-oriented
Sometimes we don't think about parents/future students, but rather about the convenience of our administrative staff. Receiving a little more than you expect turns into free advertising (word of mouth).
Create a process to manage prospective students
Have a clear written process of the steps your staff should follow when receiving information from future students. Ideally, you should have a CRM, but if your school is small, you can still manage your potential customers with an Excel spreadsheet.
Guide them along YOUR path
Provide clear, timely follow-up to everyone who requests information at your school. An email marketing strategy is an excellent way to be present at every stage of the process.
We are confident that by applying these tips correctly you will convert more prospects into new students, but above all you will help raise awareness among your school's service staff of the importance of the experience parents and students have when getting to know your school.
