CRM BEST PRACTICES [PART 1]

CRM, or Customer Relationship Management, is a process that allows us to organize and control the information we have about our leads and customers.

Most companies are already using some kind of CRM software, but many find themselves in a situation where they don't know how to take advantage of all the features these programs offer.

Here we share the first part of the CRM best practices that help you get the most out of your CRM.

Keep Your Information Clean and Up to Date

This is fairly obvious, but its importance cannot be emphasized enough. A CRM system is only as good as the information it holds. Review and update the information frequently to make sure all of your contact's information (phone, email, address, company, title, etc.) is current, to avoid embarrassing mistakes.

Fill Out Profiles as Completely as Possible

The more information you have about your prospect or customer, the better. Every additional piece of information increases the quality of the interactions that marketers and salespeople have with them.

Know How and Where Your Contacts Are Interacting With Your Company

People have different preferences about how they want to be contacted and which communication channels they tend to use. Knowing these preferences helps you interact with your contacts on the channels and in the ways they like best.

Segment Your Contacts by the Different Stages of the Buyer's Journey

People will buy when they are ready to buy, not when you are ready to sell. Defining which stage of the buyer's journey your prospects are in helps you offer them the right content to guide them toward the purchase decision.

Delight Your Contacts With Personalization

I hope these tips have been very helpful. If you want to learn the rest of the CRM best practices, don't miss part 2. Subscribe to our newsletter and YouTube channel to get it straight to your email!
